Helping Families Stay Connected
Family Resources >> Helping Families Stay Connected
Stepping out of everyday life for rehabilitation can be challenging for a child. Parents can feel the weight of wanting to keep family and friends informed while trying to focus on the child’s recovery. In order to help facilitate and grow personal connections that make this process easier, we’re pleased to offer patients and former patients of Franciscan Hospital for Children access to CaringBridge.
CaringBridge offers patients and their family a way to communicate with others about their child’s care and important events in their child’s life through an easy to create and use website. Authors can add health updates and photos to share their story while visitors leave messages of love, hope and compassion in the guestbook.
Participation in CaringBridge is entirely voluntary, and Franciscan Hospital for Children does not have any control over any content of any pages created in CaringBridge. Please note that CaringBridge is supported by donors to the service. Funds solicited by the site will not go to Franciscan Hospital for Children.
