Franciscan PediatricsOffice Hours

 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Appointments

Well visits are scheduled with the child’s primary care physician. In order to ensure appointments at a convenient time, please call to schedule well-child and routine visits at least one month in advance.

Parents or guardians who have questions about their child’s condition may call the office and request a call back from a nurse or their physician any time. Call back time for non-urgent issues may be a few hours.

Sick visits are available in most cases, on the same day. When coming in for a sick visit we try to schedule the patient with his or her pediatrician unless there is a scheduling conflict.

After hours, patients can call the practice and the operator will page the doctor on call. If your child is ill and needs to be seen, please call as early as possible so that we may accommodate you. Please remember that walk-in clinic services are not available. Walk-ins may be seen but there may be a very long wait and there are no after-hours clinic services.

Prescription Refills

Prescription refills can be requested by calling the clinic number from Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm. Please call at least 24 hours in advance. You must have your child’s name and date of birth, the name of the medication, the dose, time the medication is taken and your pharmacy number.

WIC/School/Camp Forms and Immunizations

Every patient is given a school/camp form with their immunization record at the yearly physical. This form is good for one year after the date of the physical. Please keep the original and give out only copies of the form to organizations in need of them. If you need a replacement form, please give us one week notice.

Emergencies

After hours emergency calls are covered by one of our pediatricians. After hours calls should be limited to questions regarding your child's illness which cannot wait for a call until the next business day.

If your child is having a life-threatening emergency, you should seek emergency assistance by calling 911.

Missed Appointments
