Occupational Therapy

All Outpatient Services at Franciscan Hospital for Children include family teaching to enable children to remain safe and functional in the home environment. Our highly specialized pediatric staff work as a team to design a coordinated clinical approach to the needs of children and their families.

Our Occupational Therapists specialize in:

• Sensorimotor skills, including SIPT (Sensory Integration Praxis Test) administration
• Developmental skills
• Functional living skills
• Adaptive equipment and splint fabrication
• Environmental adaptations/assistive technology
• Fine motor abilities including handwriting
