Chit-Chat Camp is a great place for kids to:

• Improve their social communication skills
• Interact with other AAC users
• Participate in fully accessible camp activities
• Increase their proficiency using their AAC system
• Build self-esteem and confidence
• Have fun!

Chit-Chat Camp provides opportunities for caregivers to:

• Network with parents/caregivers who share similar experiences and concerns
• Increase their proficiency with their child’s AAC system
• Gain hands-on experience necessary to promote the more effective use of their child’s communication device at home, in school, and in the community
• Have fun!

Chit-Chat Camp is a great place for staff and volunteers to:

• Gain experience working with AAC users and their families
• Increase their proficiency using their AAC systems
• Learn additional strategies to enhance the communication skills of AAC users
• Have fun!
