A full spectrum of special educational and therapeutic services is provided at Franciscan Hospital for Children. A supportive and nurturing environment is offered to students with medical, behavioral and developmental challenges. Special emphasis is placed on meeting the needs of children needing assistance with physical and motor skills, perceptual skills, language and communication skills, cognitive and learning abilities and attention and interaction deficits.
Our goal is to help each child to realize his or her potential for academic, social, emotional, and physical development. Through individualized programs, each student is ensured a specialized education aimed at best addressing his or her unique needs.
Serving children in the community, aged 8 weeks to 6 years.
A unique combination of integrated special education, therapeutic and medical services.
A 17-bed residential school that provides special education and treatment for children and young adults who have challenging behaviors, autism spectrum disorders, developmental disabilities, neurological disorders, and/or co-occurring psychiatric illness.
