Vision Services

The Vision Specialist provides assessment and direct instruction to students who are blind or visually impaired, as well as training and consultation to the student’s educational team and family.  Services include functional vision evaluations, learning media assessments, strategic instruction and instructional materials production/adaptation, including use of Braille. A multi-faceted approach, specifically tailored to the needs of the individual, is reflected in all aspects of vision services.
