Julio’s Liquors to raise funds for Franciscan Hospital for Children

Westborough, MA (January 28) - Julio’s Liquors will be hosting a weeklong Angel Share “Wine for a Cause” fundraiser to help the Franciscan Hospital for Children. The Westborough liquor and wine store will donate $1 to the hospital for every standard sized bottle of wine (750 ml) purchased in store, by special order or online from Feb. 7 through 14.

“We’re pleased to be the charity of choice for Julio’s Liquors,” Franciscan Hospital for Children Chief Development Officer Steven Snyder said. “We count on the support of organizations who donate a portion of their proceeds to the programs at our hospital. It’s a great way for wine lovers to make a difference with an everyday purchase.”

Julio’s Liquors owner, Ryan Maloney, has been a supporter of the Brighton-based Franciscan Hospital for Children for several years, regularly sponsoring fundraisers, including beer festivals and whiskey tastings. Angel Share “Wine for a Cause” is the first fundraiser for Franciscan Hospital for Children directly targeted at wine consumers.

Additionally, several wineries, including Moet Chandon, Montes Cherub Rose, Barefoot Cellars and Barefoot Bubbly will be matching donations with an additional $1 going toward Franciscan Hospital for Children.
