Baby Grace Goes Home for Thanksgiving

Baby Grace went home for the first time the day before Thanksgiving, 5 months after she was born, weighing just 1 pound 8 ounces! Grace’s mother developed preeclampsia during the first 28 weeks of her pregnancy, and delivered Grace at Brigham and Women’s Hospital on July 7. 

For the past month, Grace has been with us at Franciscan Hospital for Children, learning how to breathe and eat on her own.
