To honor Alan Shoolman’s love of learning and his leadership of our Hospital since 1999, we are pleased to announce

The Alan R. Shoolman Memorial Library.

In keeping with Alan’s commitment to children, the library will be fully equipped with both traditional books as well as adaptive equipment, so that all of our children may experience the joy that comes from reading a wonderful story.

Alan’s friends are hosting a special event to raise funds for the library.

Date: April 28, 2011

Time: 6:00 – 8:30 PM

Venue: Winston Flowers & Garden Center

 (Corner of Route 9 & Florence Street, Newton, MA)

Ticket cost: $150 per person

Guests are invited to also bring their favorite children’s book to donate to the Shoolman Library in Alan’s honor.
