Bob is President and Chief Executive Officer of Cambridge Financial Group, Inc. and Cambridge Savings Bank, as well as the President of Cambridge Appleton Trust, N.A. 

He is actively involved in the Massachusetts Bankers Association and the American Bankers Association.

He is a member of the Board of Overseers at the Mount Auburn Hospital and the Board of Directors of the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce.

He is a former Chairman of the Cambridge Housing Assistance Fund.

As Chief Executive Officer of Cambridge Savings Bank, Bob is an active supporter of not only the Franciscan Hospital for Children, but also Just a Start, the Newton Community Service Center, the Salvation Army, Housing Corporation of Arlington and Homeowner’s Rehab, Inc.

Bob and his wife divide their time between Brookline and Cape Cod. Bob enjoys golfing, gardening and taking in Red Sox games and cooking with his three sons.

Bob has a bachelor of science degree from Springfield College, and graduated from the National School of Finance at Fairfield University and the Executive Development Program at Stanford University.
