Passionate is the word Rachelle uses to describe herself and her co-workers.  Rachelle is a teacher in the Kennedy Day School, a program of the Franciscan Hospital for Children.  She is responsible for a classroom of children with moderate to severe special needs.

"There is great teamwork and support among teachers.  I really enjoy working with such a dedicated staff who are passionate about improving the lives of children with special needs," says Rachelle.

My experience here has definitely influenced my career path.  I will be pursuing a Master's degree in severe special education as a result of my work at the Kennedy Day School."
