Cameron DeMarche - Operating Room Nurse Manager
A resident of Boxford, MA, DeMarche joins Franciscan Hospital for Children with more than 40 years of experience at institutions including Portsmouth Regional Hospital, Tufts Medical Center, New England Rehabilitation Center, Naples Community Hospital, Massachusetts General Hospital, Children’s Hospital, New England Deaconess Hospital and most recently, Portsmouth Regional Hospital. She brings with her expertise in advanced critical care of both adult and pediatric patients, a working knowledge in all aspects of peri-operative care, and a commitment to enhancing organizational performance and ensuring optimal patient care.
DeMarche received her Diploma in Nursing from New England Deaconess Hospital’s School of Nursing in Boston, MA and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing through an online program with Concordia College. She is a member of ANA, ASPAN, AORN, AACN and ONL. She is also ACLS, BCLS, PALS, and CPAN certified.
Having served in many nursing roles, she is most comfortable utilizing her expertise in assessment, evaluation, pain management, teaching and supervising to provide her staff with the physical and emotional tools to effect optimum care for patients, families, and colleagues. Her commitment is equally important for patients and staff.
In addition to her love of children and family, Cameron lives with her husband and Irish Setter named MacGuinness. Her daughter lives in Cambridge and teaches at WPI. When she is not at work she loves traveling with her 93 year old Dad, cooking, photography and racing her Porsche.
